A question for those in the know ... aka Kevin. With Gettysburg you can make OOBs work with battalion guns mixed into infantry brigades. Is there any change in the Waterloo design that prevents this for the new game?

I'm still fiddling with my 18th Century mod and given all the extra good things you can do with WL because of the dll, I'd much prefer to work with this base game instead of Gettysburg.

Unfortunately, the change in the WL game is in a part of the code we can't access.

So what would happen if I included an artillery piece in an infantry brigade?

The game throws an error. I don't know if this will eventually cause a crash or not. Be mindful that in GB all three arms used essentially the same code. Everything was infantry with only slight differences for cav. and art. In WL, there has been a significant speciation of each arm. This will lead to conflicts between how an infantry commander thinks his battalions should fight and what the gun feels is appropriate. Try it and see what happens. affraid
