This battle will be on the Pipe Creek map which is an expansion pack of the Gettysburg game.



The snows have finally melted and the Emperor can now begin the final phase of his campaign against the Russians.

The first order of business is to secure the crossings across the swollen Fiume Perosa.  Maréchal Lefebvre's corps has been tasked with this assignment.

He is to cross the river where possible and take up a position on the high ground south of it near the town of Scarnafigi.  Once this is accomplished, the main body of the army will begin crossing.

Civilians report that a Russian force has deployed along the Strada Saluizzo.  This blocking force will prevent the army from crossing the river.  It is therefore imperative that the enemy be pushed off the high ground.
