Pre-game management
As you may know, I am taking part in Saturday's game (10th. April) but I have found it difficult to keep track of all the messages from the umpires and players. This is because everyone has their own unique email address and inconsistent subject lines.
So I request that in future all such messages be directed via this site, which would permit easier tracking via email filters. Umpires could post generic missives in a suitable forum and players could use the PM facility. It would also be desirable to enable communication via user groups (players in a team) but I am not sure if the current site software supports that.
Files can be uploaded/downloaded as well, which is also better than sending them by email. PDF documents at least can be password-protected if necessary, with passwords distributed via PM.
I suggest that this policy be implemented as a 'sticky' message.
