I would obviously enjoy being apart of this gentlemen. I intend to practice enough to grasp the fundamentals before I destroy a division with incompetent leadership!

Many thanks and I'd appreciate a guiding hand(s).

Welcome to the group, Mark. I think you will find it difficult not to destroy your division the first couple of times out. In fact many of us who have been playing for some time still manage that feat every so often. However, since we follow the chain of command, you can always foist a bad result on the incompetence of the CinC. After all, you were only following orders. I look forward to seeing you on the field.

Welcome, a thousand times welcome! Don't worry about destroying a division, I've been doing it about once a campaign month and was promoted from division CO to corps CO ... not sure there's anything other than correlation there but still....Smile Welcome again.

We can use this thread to welcome all new players to the campaign. In recent weeks we've enjoyed an explosion of new interest which is great.

Robert MacLeod - has shown interest in joining us for MP battles.

Several new people have taken up map commands as well as being interested in HITS MP games:

Josh K/Knight - who arrived some time ago now and has joined the French team as General Verdier.
Pepe - now General Llamas of Valencia.
Brett - who a couple of months back accepted the role of General Villava of Murcia.
TioPepe2 - recently arrived and now General La Romana of the Division of the North.
Mark87 - of course who has just recently accepted the role of Napoleon!
Alan August - a Frenchman from the GCM group who has recently joined us. He may be happy to join us for MP games or he may take on a French role.

And last but not least players who are going to be active on the strategic map but possibly not in MP games:

David J (Martin's son) - who a couple of months back took the role of General Palafox of Aragon.
Paul D - a veteran Kreigspieler who has recently taken on the political and high-level command role of Mr. John Hookham-Frere, British Plenipotentiary to Portugal. He's now half of the link at the highest level with the Junta in Seville.
I am hoping that a gentleman from the KS Society named John will take on the role of the Spanish Central Junta.

Thanks to you all for playing with us and I hope you all have a blast.
