There are many media reports from the Naval Task force that has arrived off the coast of Hue with several destroyers and cruisers that have been sent to help the USMC re take Hue.

The American media teams have been interviewing pilots and American marines against the heroic back drop of big guns and sleek naval units.

The Media have been told that due to serious fighting inside Hue the American military have now been given permission to use heavy artillery on the historic city walls. The airforce can now engage the NVA defending the thick walls. It is hoped now the NVA will surrender once the full might of the American military is brought to bear.
