I can play on Friday. And if nothing else is predetermined I can host a scenario.

Re: Week-End with the scenario day - 23/05-24/05
HITS Scenario “The 11th Corps pushes on”.
Situation
On May 22th, elements of the Union’s 11th Corps attacked the city of Fredericksburg. The fighting was small-scale skirmishing. The resistance by the Confederate garrison was minimal as they clearly didn’t expect an attack at this point. Within hours, the city was fully occupied by Union forces and the Rebels were pushed back westwards beyond Marye’s Heights.
On May 23th (today), the advancing Federal regiments encountered Confederate pickett lines north of Alum Springs Mill…
Orders
Will be given to the two CinCs before battle. [Any volunteers? Orders will be sent by mail or prior to game start in TS]
Commands
With 6 players, each will have at least a division to command. With more players, also brigade commands are possible.
Carry-over feature
If desired, a sequal scenario may be created later.
Requirements
Add-on Chancellorsville
Latest Couriers and Maps mod
Time
Game Start is Friday 20h30 UK time. Please meet in TS at 20h15 and make sure to have the right mods (de-)activated ;-)

I would normally volunteer for the Union CinC. But since I won't know if I can play Friday till the last minute, it wouldn't be a good idea.

Allright, it seems we can make an Italian side with Mitra, Sargon and Berthier, right? Is Sinbad the new Italian player?
You are encouraged to write courier messages in plain english if close by the enemy , just kidding.
You will be on the Union side. I will try to send you the orders by mail.
This would make the 2 Martins and me as the Confederates.
More players can be added as ususal before game start at 20h30.

Ok guys. I can either play today or Saturday, but not both. Am not sure which to opt for, and my wife would quite like to know which
Mitra/Leffe - happy to play in either scenario, subject to the above.

Martin, you need to make a new deal with the 'government', you absolutely need to play both evenings
But in the end, its your call...

I shall surrender in the hallway, I shall capitulate in the kitchen, I shall give-up in the dining room. I shall submit in the lounge. I shall never resist.

I'm afraid I must agree with Stefan on this one. The brutal junta that has installed itself must be overthrown.

That's easy for you to say, you're 5,000 miles away! How is my bunker in Colorado coming along by the way? I'll need fake ID, and a plastic surgeon too.
Surrender? I have only just begun to surrender...........

Yes, Stefan, he's Sinbad. I think he will start with a single brigade for this match

Re: Week-End with the scenario day - 23/05-24/05
I've decided to play tomorrow, and have adjusted the doodle accordingly. This does have the advantage that there will be at least 6 for each session. Sorry I cannot play your scenario, Stefan.
Have a good game today, everyone.

Submission in the lounge sounds quite good fun. Worth missing an SoW game for at any rate. Have fun Martin!

You didn't miss much. Another wasted evening because people didn't have their game and mods set up correctly. Established players who bring in new players really should arrange a test session with the newcomer to ensure their MP game is working right.

Re: Week-End with the scenario day - 23/05-24/05
Indeed, after waiting 30min for you Jack, we tried unsuccessfully to start a standard game for another 30min. That was when I headed to bed. I dont think the problem was the new player alone. When Davide hosted, 4 of 6 players dropped and I couldnt see any hint in the log. I couldnt even see the mentioned mapmismatch.
Lesson for me is to use the waiting time for all players to show up for hosting test-runs! Kevin has mastered that process
People who delete parts of a mod shall make sure their mod is in proper state the next time...! If doing that you should always keep a the original mod and adjust only a copy of the mod.
The scenario will be played at another opportunity.

Re: Week-End with the scenario day - 23/05-24/05
My fault guys, we discovered the problem was a mod which makes map bigger and that he thought to have deactivated but probably entered in conflict with the courier&maps; we entered in lobby at the 21:00 (during the week we had no the possibility) for the check but the problem with his microphone which brokes suddendly after few minutes we are in ts complicate the things. At the end I connect to him PC with Teamviewer and I manage to switch to PC microphone, change the TS microphone and deactivate the mods and the game ran playing a short match.
Please note it is note Francesco fault, because he proposed to leave and play another time when the phone broke, but I insisted for solve the problem, sorry again.

I have several Nappy scenarios we can choose from. If we play one of those, Road to Wagram and the KS Napoleon mod will be needed. The thread with the file links is here: Nappy Mods

NappyPoo
If Kevin needs a NappyPoo, that is fine. Shouldn't stay up that late! I will stay awake and vote for Mitra's Trevilian Station! "Nuff said!" LOL
