The City of Hue is still being attacked and their has been vicious fighting in the streets in the Northern part of the city. Tracer lit up the dawn skies and rockets have fallen killing many civilians in the vicinity of our reporter in the MACV compound which has come under sporadic sniper attack during the day.

There are reports of a battle taking place outside the city but these can not be verified.

The Red Flag still flies above the Imperial Palace.
