Crash on Startup Empty Crash on Startup

Post  Wittmann Sun May 05, 2013 11:55 pm

I can't seem to get my registration email for the NSD forums. So I'll try and post my problem here. I crash on startup, I don't see any videos or anything, it just crashes after a few seconds.

Crash on Startup Empty Re: Crash on Startup

If it ran in the past and begins to crash suddenly, I'd guess that one of the files has become corrupted. I'd suggest a reinstall. You can try to reinstall on top of what you have, and it should rewrite all the game files. Or else, you can rename your SOW folder, so you don't lose anything, and do a new install.

This is a new PC, so it hasn't been installed on here before, the demo works fine for me.

Are you running it through the Matrix game launcher? If so, try running the game by going to the SOW folder and double clicking on the SOWGB.exe file. That will bypass the launcher.

Tried both, in admin, and comparability mod.

Have you tried reinstalling? A re-download might be needed from the Matrix site as well.

You really need to get in touch with NSD over this and raise a ticket. Even without your registration e-mails you can open things by asking on their tech help and bugs section of the forum.

All resolved, it has decided to magically begin to work, I'm trying not to question it.
