Somsri Willis RIP
It is with great sadness that I have to report the passing of Somsri, the beloved wife of Lloyd Willis (aka Ike/A S Johnston) a few days ago, after a 2-year battle with cancer. It’s been a tough time for him and his family, and especially for Somsri of course. The family are taking some comfort that her suffering is at an end.
I know that I speak for you all when I send our sincere condolences to Lloyd and family.
For obvious reasons, Lloyd has not been playing much recently, but was a stalwart member of our Gettysburg MP group in the early months, and we still regularly use his TeamSpeak server. We very much hope that that at some stage he will be back in the saddle, and re-join us for games. He will be very welcome whenever he is ready.

Re: Somsri Willis RIP
I wish to extend my most heartfelt sympathies to you and your family in this time of sorrow. Please take comfort that the community here grieves with you and is here to support you as we are able.
I hope you are surrounded by loved ones and fond memories.
No matter how deep your sorrow is today, know that it has a curious feature of feeling like it will last forever - but alas it does not. You will be in good cheer again someday.
For now, our warmest thoughts and wishes remain with you.

Thank you to each of the members of the community for their good wishes and prayers and especially to all who have posted here. The support which good friends like yourselves provide in times like this are more precious than you may know. Many, many thanks to Martin for the post and yes I shall return to battles, I just am unable to say when that will be at this point, but not too long. My wife and I were together for 46 years and celebrated our 46th on 17 October and I feel blessed to have known and loved her, and to have had her love all those years. Thank you all very very much.
