I would have time to play a game, either sandbox or a retake of one of my existing scenarios.
Like "Falling into a trap", which doesn't need too much preparation.
But it would need at least 7 players, I guess.

I would like to join in, and will be there if I can.
I hope the broadband co has sorted my "dropping" problem by then. Last 2 games I've played I dropped.

I'd give this scenario a second play, Stefan.
Do you plan to change anything?
I would suggest weakening the CSA cavalry in some way, either numbers or morale.
Moving the SW Union force closer could also help.
I see the scenario needs 9 players... Do you think you can get that many involved?
I'd be okay with playing a Union command, might even take the division command in the SW. can you get a Doodle page up?

Re: Sat, October 6th, 1930 UK time
I think it should already work with 7 players.
And yes I will adjust the scneario slightly and introduce a brand-new mod for it...
Here is a doodle link for everyone who wants to play: http://doodle.com/2xyz4cxi3nu6yxn7
I know saturday is a bit short-noticed. If we aren't enough players we can just play a sandbox.

I can play. As I was a division commander last time, I'll be happy to give someone else a chance by taking a minor role.

Hi Neal, you used the old doodle link from may (I closed it now). Here is the new one you can register: http://doodle.com/2xyz4cxi3nu6yxn7
And as last time, the Union can field 2 CinCs in this scenario.

Think I'll give it a tumble. Just be sure to take it easy on a relative HITS noob.

I DO NOT CARE HOW MANY THE ENEMY ARE, ONLY WHERE THEY ARE.

Let me finish that thought.

I'd be okay with commanding a Union division, preferably the southern one.

I know there is room for several more. I believe the next two player to show up will be Union men.

Re: Sat, October 6th, 1930 UK time
I don't want to seem unpleasant over this but Flashman, I really think you need to sit this one out as your connection just isn't working at the moment. Including you in the briefings and assigning you a command is just going to cause aggro for everyone in teh game when you drop connection, which you will.
Once we get you stable and able to stay in a casual game, then you'll be good to go in the scenarios and campaign games.
Until then I fear we will only be wasting time.
Sorry to seem hostile, that's not my intention at all.
We do have a rule in place that says that players must play in at least one casual game before they join a scenario game. This would obviously include staying in the game to the end.

He actually finished one yesterday.
But of course, that might have been an exception. Who knows. Playing with an unstable connection could certainly cause delay. Hope you can get it fixed asap mate.

It looks like we will be 10+ players. Is someone volunteering for hosting?
Cheers

Stefan, Little Mac has played a HITS game, we did the Antietam Bloody lane scenario on the anniversary and he played in that.
Who, Flashman? Well that's good news!MajorByrd wrote:Mr. Digby wrote:We do have a rule in place that says that players must play in at least one casual game before they join a scenario game. This would obviously include staying in the game to the end.
