Hello from Guy Farrish
Having just posted a reply to another introduction it occurred to me I hadn't bothered to introduce myself yet - very remiss.
I've been wargaming since 1972 and saw Kriegsspiel, like Bob Cordery at COW (Conference of Wargamers) in the early 80s demonstrated by Bill Leeson. Although I've only played a few 'formal' Reisswitz style games the idea of Free Kriegsspiels grabbed my attention very strongly and I have found them to be probably the most satisfying types of wargame I have played, although I still indulge in a variety of other forms. I owe a huge debt to many of the people I see on this forum for the enjoyment and enlightenment they have brought my way via Kriegsspiel.
Having been (pleasantly) inveigled into PBEM free Kriegsspiel by Paddy Griffith I am working on a couple of ideas for games - watch this space.

PS I know I shouldn't, but I have to ask WHAT is 'Game X'?

Re: Hello from Guy Farrish
Game X has been created to run an as yet unnamed game on the forum, but no one has volunteered to run one.
If anybody wants to volunteer let me know.
