Sirs,

I would just like to briefly introduce myself - I've been playing GCM for a while now, and enjoy that a lot. However, I think that the settings used in GCM miss one of the strongest and most interesting aspects of SoW - couriers, and HITS!

When playing single-player I leant towards "Historical" settings, but quickly became frustrated with my AI brigade commanders! I'm also happy playing a brigade commander, but became frustrated with the AI in the upper echelons!

So it seems an obvious progression to moving to games where

1) Everyone plays from the saddle
2) No TeamSpeak, except when commanders in close proximity.
3) Every brigade is controlled by a human commander!

Anyway, I think that's what goes on here, and I'm looking forward to getting stuck in. I've chatted with Cleburne quite a bit, and gather that the best time to catch a game would be Friday-Sunday? I'd be keen to try a small game soon.

I'd also love to get involved in some of the campaigns - I tried to get in on the last one (The Father General's Opportunity), but family life took over!

That's all for now. See you on the field!

Welcome. I think you'll find the way we play exactly what you are looking for. We also have small games late in the evening, 11:30 UK time 2 or 3 times a week. If you are a night owl like some, drop into teamspeak at that time.

You will need the Courier&Maps 1.451 mod to play.

You will also need the latest patch 1.4026. You probably have that since you've played GCM games.

Hope to see you on the field.
