Friday 16 March 4pm GMT
I'll be in the TS server by 4pm GMT, with a window of opportunity until about 6pm, if anyone fancies a game.

Ike, you posted this 2 1/2 hours after the rendezvous
Martin James, Digby & Jack have just discovered why I prefer not to command divisions!!! A very enjoyable 90-minute game on South Mountain, in which I suffered.
I'm off out, but Digby & Baylor said they'll be back at 7pm GMT.
Hasta pronto,
Jeff

Excellent game, even though the AI beat us. Nice to play on the South Mountain maps.
You're too hard on yourself, Jeff. You had 3 human & 8 pc commanders reporting to you.......which is way too much for anyone.

Yes, just ask Hays.
A lot of people get demoralised by their first time in command. I was not so much demoralized as utterly confused, but if people do it again and again, I promise you will get better at it. Being the architect of a crushing victory is a great feeling, especially when your team all pulled their weight to earn it jointly.
Not rushing towards the enemy when you see him is often a good idea. Try to move your army to where he is heading, block him off and let him batter himself against you, this both gives you the advantage of defence and may give you time to gather up some of those errant batteries and place them well.

Sorry about that; I keep getting confused with the time difference since the US just dropped Daylight Savings time. I was here this evening - UK time - and we had a very nice battle without any freezes or crashes. Some lag, but that was various ascribed to too many new users with I-Pad Mark XXVII's or sunspots.
