Hi gentlemen,

Does the game/Ksmod saves the after battle OOB?
It would be great to be able to re-use those with the scenario generator in the context of a campaign.

There is no automatic save of an OOB based on the battle's result.  However, you can use a tool I wrote to do just that.  It does take a few steps, but will make a new after battle OOB.  There is a pdf manual that explains the procedure.
OOB Casualty Modifier
You can take the newly modified OOB and use it with the scenario Generator.

I just read the manual, all is really clear for me except the game dump file. Where can I find it?

It's in the MyDocuments\SOWWL folder.

I tried to do an updated OOB after a battle but It did not worked, I had a message box saying :

GameDB: line: 930
could not find PRU06_FR_76_1 in the master OOB.
Is this the correct OOB?

I checked, it's the correct OOB.
I used a SKIRM OOB

Any tips?

I tried with a non SKIRM OOB and it worked, I guess that the new units created by detaching skirmishers are the reason why the gameDB does not match with the master OOB.
Is it possible to fix it easily or to update the tool to be able to handle the SKIRM OOB?
It would be great to be able to have long term campaign with the SKIRM ones 😊

PRU06_FR_76_1 doesn't look like a valid entry. If the gamedb file contains that entry, it is likely a bad gamedb file. Since the master OOBs, (SKIRM and non-SKIRM), are the same except for the addition of a cell at the end of each entry for the SKIRM OOB, I do not see how it would work with one OOB and not the other.

Thank you for the answer,

Just to be sure, the gameDB needs to be created via the following steps?

- end battle
- statistics
- save gameDB

Ignore my last reply.  Those units are the company sized skirmishers.  I fixed the problem.  Download this latest version Casualty Modifier

Hi, I tried the new casualty modifier, now new OOB files are created but game after game armies get more and more men instead of losses. I put addition on 0%.
Is there something I do wrong or is it some kind of bug?

I tried several times but the casualty modifier doesn't seem to take into account the losses of previous battles. I just tried it putting all options on 0% and it gave me the same OOB as before the battle. If I use it with the pre-selected options I always end up having way more troops than before the battle. Maybe it does not use the dump file correctly? Any help?

Hmm, I'll take a look. Hopefully it's just changing a plus to a minus.

Not a minus sign but a line of code on the wrong side of a parentheses.  It should work now. KS SOW Casualty Modifer 1.12
Thanks for finding the error.
