Question about the Movement table in the TFL 1824 rules
Alright so on pg 29 there is a movement table. All is quite clear except for one thing. Within the "troops in action" section some units have subtext such as "1 move in 3" or "2 moves in five" such as in the case of Infantry breaking ranks. What exactly does that mean? any answers are welcome

Troop Movement
Turns in the Too Fat Lardies 1824 translation are 2 minutes long. I have interpenetrated this rule in the "maximum distances in one move column" to mean 1 movement that continues over 3 turns or 6 minutes long, or 2 movements over 6 turns or 12 minutes.
So in the case of infantry breaking ranks where even ground allows 400 distance and they get 2 moves in 5 turns. They will move 800 over 10 minutes
Hope this helps
