Half battallion consistency

Hi there. Waiting for the last question, I have another one: in the same set of rules, at pag. 7, it is said that a half battalion is represented by two companies of 150 men (total of 300 men?), but later, pag. 13, the number rises at 450 men. What is the wright one? Best, Paolo

P13 is correct. In the 1824 rules (ie the Reisswitz version), an infantry battalion is represented by two half-battalion blocks. Each block represents 450 men in 3 ranks. In other words a battalion is 900 men. Organisationally, each battalion consists of 4 companies of 225 men each, and each half battalion consists of 2 companies.
