My wife just finished a pencil drawing of Napoleon. You might recognise the image, its from a painting of the Battle of Jena.
It has taken her months, on and off.
I wish she wouldn't get so engrossed with these obsessions

She is not feeling very inclined to commit to another likeness of the Great man, yet!
She hasn't said such but the pile of broken pencils indicate her frame of mind on this subject

Curious that the evil smirk the artist caught in the studio portrait is missing on the Alps work (a magnificent landscape I may add). Perhaps he was feeling a little chilly?
