KS Napoleon Mod 1.14
A new version of the KS Napoleon mod has been released. You can download it from the link in the first post of this thread: Downloads for KS Napoleon Mod
Changes include some map changes. Most maps now only have wooded terrain where there are trees. Do not use the ground color as an indicator of woods. Substitutions of ground cover have been made to many maps. The trees will no longer float in the air or have the bottom half turn invisible if viewed from a certain direction.
AI controlled artillery will be more likely to advance within range of the enemy rather than camp out where they first sight them.

Agh, you did an update. I wanted to ask you about those maps where you have added breastworks if we could have a different greyscale colour inside them and behind them so that artillery get the cover bonus when the limber sprite is well back inside/behind the breastworks and I don't have to place the cannon model sticking a long way out the front. I have had to do this for the Calatayud game and it looks weird.
I think Matt used this trick when he created his Shevardino redoubt game several months back.

I have crops showing up on some maps as sunflowers. It looks very pretty but I am not sure this is right.
The battle we played on Wednesday:
The France Manassas Fortified map we are using tomorrow:
And a road glitch I found on Sunday. Under the eyeball as you face east there is a T-junction dead end road going south (not marked on the minimap). The troops marching on the east-west road take a small diversion down it for a few yards then flip back again. Its the usual odd road connection thing we've seen before on some of the random maps.

Van Gogh painted them. I suppose they would be more appropriate on the Russian maps, but I couldn't resist. Besides, I got tired of having wheat everywhere.I have crops showing up on some maps as sunflowers. It looks very pretty but I am not sure this is right.

Noticed a small FPS drop with the sunflowers, but still playable and does change things up from the usual wheat.
