I just wanted to thank for the magnificent SOWWL KS mod, and I take the opportunity to greet you all.
(maybe I will practice a little in SP before asking to join a MP with you guys, as I am still more able in destroyn' my own command than the AI's ones..)
Apart from SOWWL, I'm also interested in KS history. I just concluded a PhD on XIX Century Italian general staff officers' culture, social and life habits, so I will read with real interest the other forum discussions.

Welcome to the forum, Jack. Our MP games are pretty laid back, often against the AI. Getting your command destroyed would not be unusual. We have some players that have been playing for a very long time, who do that on a regular basis. Usually, new players take command of a brigade with someone else taking command of the division. Since the soldiers are just pixels on a screen, it's hard to take their loss very seriously. You'll be welcome to join us whenever you're ready.

Just come and join us dieing is place is the norm for me and I am damn good at it, so you will have to try hard to beat my record.
In reality we are here to have fun and pull legs. Oh and learn some history too. You can take a BDE and that will let you get accustomed to things and meet the guys.
Do you have Team Speak 3 installed? If you need help with that let us know here and we can help you get set up.
Hope to see you soon. My only advice is not try trust Uncle Billy aka MTG aka Kevin. The fact that he has 3 alias should explain it all.

Welcome Jack, good to see you. Please drop by our MP games any time. We usually arrange them on the day they take place without much forward planning, but something is happening most days. Just keep an eye on the Arranged Games sub-forum.
