KS Napoleon Game Friday, Aug 14th 20:00BST
Prince Eugène’s Army of Italy is in hot pursuit of Bagration’s 2nd Russian Army, moving east from Ochmyany. It was thought that the Russians were retreating towards Minsk, however late developments make Emperor Bonaparte guess that they might try to join their 1st Army by the unexpected, a march parallel to our front. These Russians are mad!
A strong all arms force from Bagration’s command has been advancing for the last hours in a northwesternly direction from Scheneiders, on the north bank of the river Neris. Orders from Imperial Headquarters to the nearest French unit, Ney’s III Corps, are plain simple:
Push back the Russian forces north of the Neris and take the strategic town of Schneiders.
If you are successful, your victory will lead to the destruction of Bagration’s 2nd Army.
The morning returns of III French Army Corps are:
III Corps: Marechal àl 'Empire Michel Ney (19793 Inf. 4720 Cav. 66 Guns))

Look great! Hopefully I can make it.
Kevin,
If you can give me a scenario primer I have a couple ideas that may be intriguing. When I get some more time this fall I would like to be able to make scenarios.

I wrote up instructions on how I go about creating a scenario and passed it out to people who have requested help. I did not write up a section that covers moving units into their final positions. It comes with the version of the SG that I use, (one of the first), along with the OOBs and scenario calculator I use for determining the game's balance. I've just finished folding in the stock oob and sprites into the KS mod. I'll now finish up the scenario instructions and put up a link to all the scenario stuff.

Thanks. I look forward to it. I always march units to where I want manually using alphaomega=1 and ai=0.

Thank you for the support.
I knew it was a risky decision, a heartbreaking choice for me too.
That's great, version 1.10 coming soon!
Not my Russians! Sad

Symbols notwithstanding, am I the CinC today? If so, Pepe may have to suffer for this injustice.

I believe that was the main idea why people started creating scenarios... so that you can be CinC again.....

We are facing a tactical genius today, so advanced planning is a must.
I have no preference about CinC, just better an imaginative one than a butcher.

Re: KS Napoleon Game Friday, Aug 14th 20:00BST
This map reminds me of one of my first WWII books (I was 10 at the time I believe)- the "Times Atlas of World War 2" - huge pictures- which showed the entire Operation Barbarossa in ONE map - covering over 3 months... I was mighty impressed back then, cause I had no clue what it actually meant... I asked my grandfather, who was a Colonel back then, what the symbols meant... he looked at it, explained the symbols and said little else - 2 weeks later he gifted me 3 other books... which covered the different theatres on a weekly basis...
unfortunately in German and without tone - but hilarious and truly fitting for the expected briefing:

Re: KS Napoleon Game Friday, Aug 14th 20:00BST
Is this the official training video for today's attack?
I presume the infantry divisions are the guys lying on their stomachs and sliding backwards while the cavalry division is the shopping cart?
1:24 - the most interesting pole dancing I've ever seen. Pity it was a man and he had clothes on.
