Welcome to all the new members

Since SoW:Waterloo came out and since the KS Mod II was issued for that game the forum has seen dozens and dozens (literally!) of new members sign up. Presumably this is so people can access the Dropbox files and download them.

Unfortunately literally not one single person has said hello on the forums and asked about joining our MP game group.

Everyone is very welcome to do so and we encourage anyone who is curious about our KS style of play to ask or join us. You only need Teamspeak (free and unobtrusive) and a microphone to join us in our pre-game social sessions.

If you are apprehensive about playing alongside 'veteran' players and being seen to make a mess of things - well - don't! Our HITS and couriers playing style is a great leveller and in recent weeks the AI has royally kicked the behinds of our most experienced players around the battlefield a number of times. If you are new to SoW or even online gaming in general the MP set-up is very simple to get used to and new players can command the lowest and smallest formation to being with - an infantry brigade, and if you just want to soak up the battle atmosphere and not even do that much an artillery battery is a possible command as well.

We hope to see some of you online or to hear from you in this thread - feedback on the KS mod would be good to have as well since the regular players of it have designed it to fit best into a specific play style and if it could be adjusted to fit other styles better we'd like to hear it.

I did! Very much looking forward to playing HITS online but learning the vanilla game operations is taking me longer than anticipated.

Volunteer, just come and play these are some great guys. When I started playing SOW GB I just went at it and you can do it here. Guarantee that you will get it figured out better with this group then by yourself.
