Request Air Support
Date: Feb 12
To: Gen LaHue
From: LTC Cheatham
I have secured artillery and tank support from the ARVN forces north of Hue City. I have also moved my remaining supplies from Camp Evans to support another attack.
Before I begin the attack I request air support to suppress and disturb enemy forces defending the north wall of the city. Bombing the wall to help secure a breach would be very helpful and allow my forces to engage the enemy within the city.
Let me know if air support is available. Without it I will still make the attack but at greater odds.
MY recon forces believe that the enemy has been proving supplies to their forces within the city through the west gate. Can you disturb this flow of supplies?
