Kriegsspiel version?
Worth keeping an eye out for a Victory Point Games product in development:
Tattered Flags
TATTERED FLAGS is said to be a Kriegsspiel inspired game but we shall have to wait and see what that means.

Had a look at it on BoardGameGeek here............
http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/68187/gettysburg-the-wheatfield
At first sight there doesn't appear to be much of k/spiel about it, although the map is very much in the Bill Leeson style. But maybe someone else knows more?

Re: Kriegsspiel version?
I also found out the the Stanford University library
has a complete collection of the publication in its
library. Stanford also has a copy of Bill Leeson's
translation of Kriegsspiel, for those of you in the
Bay area who are interested.

Re: Kriegsspiel version?
Thanks stive. Stanford sounds like a forward-thinking institution
I wonder if any British universities have done this? Possibly King's College, London, which does offer a MA course in war studies.
