Club AGM 29 Nov 2015
The club AGM took place today, after an enjoyable Vietnam game.
There was a comprehensive report from the Treasurer, which revealed a small surplus for the year. It was decided to keep the current charge of £5 per game (free for first-time players). This essentially covers the cost of the village hall, plus website/forum hosting costs.
We then moved to the election of officials, and the results were as follows:
Chair: Steve Hockin (re-elected)
Treasurer: David Commerford (re-elected)
Secretary: Sean Collins
UN inspectors were present and reported numerous voting irregularities, together with some intimidation. As is traditional on these occasions, the club SWAT team was deployed, and tear-gas was used, but only in moderation. Overall, the observers felt that the process was fair and represented the views of the majority of members present
