Error when loading scenario with KS mod
I am getting a consistent game crash when loading scenarios that seems to be related to this line in the log file:
14:00:00 KS ReadBattlescripts: Commanders imported
14:00:00 KS ReadBattlescripts: Importing KS battlescript orders.
14:00:00 ERROR ReadBattlescripts: KS SCRIPT is not the 2nd line.
However, the battlescripts for scenarios included with the KS mod either have a blank 2nd line, or simply begin listing scenario events at the second line.
Is the issue as simple as adding in "KS SCRIPT" to the second line of the battlescript for the scenario in question?

I just tried a couple of scenarios included with the mod and had no problems loading them. The same goes for sandbox scenarios.
Are you trying to create a scripted KS scenario and test it in single player mode? For SP, use the SowWL default scripting. It is much more complete. If you are trying to create a scripted scenario for MP play and test it in single player, you need to copy battlescript.csv and scenario.csv to the Netserv folder. That's where the mod expects to find those two files. That folder is in your \Documents\SowWL\scenarios folder.
I'll see if I can change that so you won't have to copy those two files in the next mod update. It should come out sometime this month.

I'm trying to load one of the stock scenarios (Quatre Bras, A-Corps), packaged in the "Stock Scenarios" mod folder as advised. It seems like the KS mod attempts to overwrite the stock WL parameters with its own data, leading to the CTD.
Interestingly, this behavior does not seem to occur with smaller scenarios, and I have even been able to run the full WL battle (from the Allied side) for over an hour without issues using the same "Stock Scenarios" mod.
Any thoughts on why that would be the case?

Wouldn’t running a copied stock scenario with the KS mod enabled (thus overwriting the AI dll) be equivalent to any other KS scenario? The sprites would be the stock WL sprites, and the same for the maps; but as far as I understand this shouldn’t be an issue.
Am I missing something important about the way the mod works?

The mod adds a number of formations which are not included in the stock game. They are sometimes called by the AI. The OOB structure is different in that there is a column for auto deployed skirmishers which doesn't exist in the stock OOB. That OOB is packed in a file which we do not have access to, so it can't be edited. As I said, I'm surprised you got any of them to run.
