Final battle alternate date PLEASE READ

The above link is for an alternate date for the final battle. A number of people will be out on Saturday 7/26 including Major Byrd, who is the Confederate commander. We also have a small turnout for the battle compared to our usual more larger numbers. The OOB for this battle is large and requires extra players, as opposed to fewer.

I am floating the prospect of delaying the battle by one more week to accommodate a greater number of players. I will only use this alternate date (August 2) IF I have participants equal to or greater than those already scheduled for 7/26.

No matter what, the campaign will conclude either on 7/26 or no later than 8/2. After that, we will resume Digby's Napoleonic campaign which is quite ready to go! I do not feel comfortable delaying any further than that.

Yes (though I'm not Neal).

The original idea of the later date was so Byrd could command the CSA (he's away this weekend), but since he's busy next weekend as well, we are going ahead.

Sounds good. I'll be there a little before 20.00 UK time.

Looks like a good turn-out (at least 14 per doodle), even though some folks cannot make it.

Yes, today the 26, is the big day.

After weeks of dry weather during the rainy season, today is the day it has decide to rain. If I am not there it due to a T storm or monsoon rain that will not let me get a signal from the tower in the valley. Hope to see you all today, if not "Vive la Unión" and have a great game!
