Stutters with KS mod

Hi, I've decided to give KS mod a try and love it.

I have a high end PC and vannila Waterloo runs as smooth as silk even at Army level, but with KS I get this cyclic stutter that happens about every 3 seconds.

When I first start it seems ok, but as the scenario goes on the stutter appears, especially if I excellerate time.

I've followed all of the procedures in the steam guide, tried different Nvidia settings and reduced the troop ratio but nothing helps.

any ideas ?

That does not sound right. I have a smooth game with the mod in single player. Our group sees quite a few stutters in MP but that is due to internet connections.

I have also tried turning off my anti virus software.

Just wondered, are you trying to play stock scenarios because there are a number of conflicts if using these. I believe that there are some KS scenarios that may need some updating too because of some changes made over the years. If so, try sandbox battles to test, use maps with prefix KS

Yes I’ve only used the KS scenarios, Attack on Richwol was one.

Which scenario number is that? I will give it a try.

I have been using KSFrench 83.

But I just tried KSFrench 1 and it is gone, must be the scenario.

That's good to know. I will take a look at 83. It could be something on that map or in the OOBs used.
