One-sided battles Empty One-sided battles

Post  Mr. Digby Sat Jun 25, 2016 2:50 am

Gentlemen,

We have a battle to fight that is extremely one-sided. I am not going to say where it is or which side is the one with no hope of winning but my question is, do people still want to play such battles out as SoW MP games? Even if you are on the side that cannot possibly win?

Please let me know.

A simple yes or no is sufficient, there need not be any mitigating circumstances or reasons, its merely a matter of saving us time vs giving the losing side an opportunity to do at least some damage.

I'll leave the poll open a day or three then take the majority view.

Thanks
Martin

Yes

(Until I know how {the Method not the outcome} the battle will be adjudicated by his holiness the Game Master, then I would chose which one gives us the best numbers in the end)

for now ...

no - nyet - nein

in the future ...

I would assume that there ought to be created a standard rule that will automatically make such a decision unless the strategic/operational and/or player campaign situation dictates that a final desperate stand be a consideration. Under those circumstances I would enjoy being the along, willing and outnumbered.
