Napoleonic Mod now working in MP!
Mitra, Suchet and I tested the Napoleonic Mod with SOW 1.6 in MP today.
We started 3 battles. It worked great, no problems encountered whatsoever.
The sprites are looking very nice and are a welcome change to the blue and grey we all have seen for some time now...
I am looking forward to play some real HITS MP battles using this excellent mod by Gunship24!

We also tested the cavalry and square formations. Here are some first observations:
Infantry in squares are really stronger against cavalry than in other formations. As it should be. Once the melee starts, the infantry looses its formation to fight the melee.
Infantry seems to stick moving in Line formations also over longer distances. Which is looking nice. I don't know if they loose too much fatigue by that.
Cavalry is not extremely strong. It took several charges to rout an enemy infantry from the front.
When Cavalry has lost a charge and has retreated, it will not loose much Morale, but more Fatigue. Then after they have rested, they can charge again.

Very good gameplay, it appears well balanced also in rapport to the new role of cavalry. AI commanders appear to have much more initiative, perhaps due to their statistics.

Shall we try for 19:00 GMT? The Euros have not changed their clocks yet, so that is 13:00 MST, 14:00 CST and 15:00 EST.

This should be a blast. But I have to admit some confusion as to the array of mods, maps & downloads that we'll need for this one. Would it be possible for someone to itemize the "must haves" and which mods must be both activated and turned off ahead of the game? This might save us some time. Thanks!
