Napoleon mod skirmishers

Post  Mr. Digby on Wed Feb 05, 2014 6:29 pm

Jack O'Neill on the NSD forum has been using the mod in SP and says that skirmishers leave a gap in the line when they deploy. I haven't used the latest Nap mod enough to know exactly what the new formations do but is it practical to have the skirmishers not be allocated a position in the front line of the brigade formation? Or have them take the end of the line so a gap is less apparent? Maybe the sk unit should be #1 in the brigade list and not #2? Or always the last unit in the brigade list?

I don't have the answer myself, I'm just throwing out some ideas and questions.

I did a short SP game recently and can't confirm, that there is a gap when a brigade is in skirmishing formation.
