The American Onslaught Continues
Greetings from western Colorado. I have been playing and contributing to SOW since the game was released. Some of you may know me as Marching Thru Georgia on the Norbsoft forum. I was invited to play a few MP games this weekend and found the group to be extremely cordial. I look forward to meeting more of you fine folks on the battlefield. I play almost exclusively in HITS, (headquarters in the saddle), mode. It gives a very realistic feeling of what it must have been like to command troops in the 19th century. It's also very humbling to be beaten by a thin wafer of silicon.

Welcome Uncle Billy.
Actually we've had an American kriegsspiel contingent for many years, since James Sterrett & Corinne Mahaffey were in the UK doing their doctorates, and came to play with Bill, Arthur and me at Hemel Hempstead. They still occasionally run traditional map k/spiels in Kansas City, if you're ever out that way.
The more the merrier I say.

Yes. Memo #7392G14/933 dated the 25th. The 'prize' is permanent assignment to division command.

In that case I'm sticking with the one. As you know, I don't want divisional command
