new user here map file problem

hi the mod seems great its the size of the map file 250mb? it downloads but its corrupt everytime.

anyone?

I take it you're referring to the KS Napoleonic mod for Waterloo.  Is that right?  I'm not an expert on the mod, so please bear that in mind when reading this............

I didn't quite follow what the map problem is.  Can you explain in more detail please?  If one map is really 250mb, then you have got a corrupt download.

If I've misunderstood you, then we perhaps need to look elsewhere.  One thought is that you may not have the latest patch for the stock game.  This mod is compatible with SowWL version 1.03.  It will not work with the older version of the game, 1.01 or 1.02.

Other things to check are that you've also downloaded the accompanying KS Sprites and KS Maps mods, and have all 3 enabled.

The size of the zip file is 656,936KB or 656.9MB. I am not sure why you are having problems with downloading it. It sounds as if the download is being terminated early.

uncle billy hi and thanks for the reply my problem is that when i download the file is just 250mb all other work well, i been trying for days now and always the same result can i ask anyone for another host like gdrive pls been playing the mod with the stock maps and works great.
