Infantry wont fire

Hi,

I was playing the battle of Quatre-Bras (QB4) qith the KS mod and strangely, my infantry would not fire on the enemy square despite being at 100 yards of it with good morale and lots of ammunition. In fact, none of the bataillons in range of a target in that area (Namur's road) would fire on any of them.

Any reason for that strange behaviour?

I haven't played any of the stock scenarios. If that behavior isn't scripted, then perhaps all your men were set to volley fire and the distance wasn't close enough for the firing to be activated. It's a bug in the game engine and nothing can be done about it except to go through each btn. and de-select volley fire.

I'll check if it was volley fire, but I usually disable it.
