Was a fun game today. We actually had 5 divisions in action with 2 extra. Taking the time to scout yielded a heavy Russian force south and SE of objective. So with the (un)willing sacrifice of Phil taking over the entire right flank of the corps (and ehey being the hinge) we could drive 3 divisions into the objective from the west and SW.

At least it seemed that way when I had to go 30 min early. So ... how did it end?

The battle was a defeat. Near the end of the fight, Cossacks romped about the restaurant, kicking over tables, stealing the silverware, etc. Needless to say, the Emperor was very displeased. The word is, you are being reassigned to a coastal fortress in Holland. Pity that.

So that means you basically failed at the task you were assigned and Digby’s meal was ruined. Pity.

Which is exactly what Kevin & I planned if we got there first. I like these Cossack's style. The Emperor should recruit a corps of them, place Kevin in command and he'd be as happy as a pig in poo.
