Gentlemen,

I have downloaded the relevant files for the KS Mod, only to find out they have arrived as "TZ" files. What the hell are those? Never heard of that or those before. Any thoughts?

Actually they are 7z.  It is a compression method that is better than zip or rar.  You can download the free program here: 7Zip Download

I don't have Win10 but I assume its 64-bit, in which case that would be the second download in the second block (Download 7-Zip 16.04 (2016-10-04) for Windows).
