Diplomacy?

Hello all,

I'm itching to do something pbem or online, and thought about learning how to play Diplomacy. I understand it's an excellent way to destroy friendships?

Does anyone on here play online at all and would be willing to show me some ropes? I think I have a basic understanding of the rules.

Aside from that, I understand the "Lite" Napoleonic KS is ongoing. Is there room for an outside player to join?

I used to play Diplomacy at school in the sixth form and yes, its a great way to lose friends...

I think there are numerous online games run, though I am not sure where. A google search will get you involved quickly I would think.

Yes, the 1813 campaign is going a blast, there is a player interest thread in the main 1813 forum, but if I know you are definitely interested I can get you a command slot quickly, the Coalition side is in most need of players with several Russian corps command slots open.

I actually had the game Diplomacy when I was a kid. We never lost any friends over it but we sure seen some arguments over it. Axis and Allies,Diplomacy and role playing games !! Boy those were the days.

I would be interested in a game but I would be no use to you with the rules it was over 30 years ago that I played my last game.
