How to save configuration Empty How to save configuration

Post  seamount0 Fri May 06, 2022 2:36 pm

Hi all,
I use mainly Waterloo but sometimes still use GB.

I think that my question has the same answer for WL and GB, but anyway that's my question:

In GB (and WL too) I have three configurations, the KS (only in WL), another HITS configuration with mods, and a non-HITS configuration with other mods.

I would like to be able to pass from one configuration to another without changing by hand each time all the selected mods plus the settings (HITS, non-HITS); so my question is: if I have all the mods I need in the MODS folder, may I just save once the sowwl.ini/sowgb.ini file for each configuration and afterward, when I want to play one different configuration, just replace the sowwl.ini/sowgb.ini in use with the sowwl.ini/sowgb.ini of the other configuration and then just restart the game ?
Every mod of the new configuration should be already activated without any intervention is that correct ? and the new settings needed for the
new configuration (HITS/non-HITS) too ?
Is that correct or maybe there is anything wrong or missing ?

Thank you for your help

What you described is the correct method. Just create different sowwl.ini files for each configuration.
