WW2 PBEM Kriegsspiel

Hi I was wondering if anyone would be interested in joining a WW2 Kriegsspiel set just after the invasion of Normandy. For maps we would use Google Maps. Commands would be at the Corp level but we would also have Army, and Army Group commands available. We would also need one side commander for each side.

The combat system will use ratings.

After replying to the doodle plz send a quick post telling me what lvl of command you would like so I can give out roles. I will do my best to honor requests. Also plz send me a pm with your email so I can send out Orbats when the doodle ends.

Game turns will now be daily with orders being carried out the next day.

I'd like to play, and replied to the Doodle, but I can't seem to send pm's!

Would you be alright with being the supreme commander of German forces?

So basically the game will be played like any other kreigsspiel. You will get a report from me almost every day. I say almost because I may not be able to send reports every day, this will simulate loss of communications. On Sunday's I will send out an updated order of battle which shows casualties and changing troop positions. At the time you enter the game and send me a pm with your email, you will get a email with an excel file from me. This is your situation board, whenever you get a report, you will be responsible for updating it. The excel file will contain a list of airfields. Airfields will allow you to launch fighter raids and paratroopers. As for combat, I will use the free kriegsspiel system. We've got some players, so I hope to see people come up and take roles.

Look like PM doesn't work. I am interested, I have never played Kriegsspiel games before but I would like to try.

Hey guys. Sorry I haven't really followed through with this, but life has been a little hectic. Anyways, things have calmed down for me and I still want to try this. I think I am going to use Malcom's maps instead of Google Maps because it's a little easier. So, if you guys are still interested, just post here.

Here's Malcolm's maps. We'll start in NorthWest France but possibly go to the Low Countries and Central France and maybe even Germany!

As you have Jeanathan's e-mail now Bob, I have edited it from his post. Its never good practice to put e-mails "in clear" on forums as spambots will snaffle them up and send you spam.

Andrew told me such over a long heated debate that made us both huffing and puffing.

I have no problems in leaving out such information in the public.

And when it comes to bots, let them come... mwoahahahahaha

Almost done with OOBs. I think I am going to tentatively set the start date to be this Sunday.

Since I've gotten everything sorted out, we are starting today.

Both sides should have received an email concerning commands. Please reply to it as soon as possible. If you did not get an email. Please tell me. I think we can start the first turn today if I get your emails in.
