Death Knell For SOW?

The problem we have right now is that we have been patching this game forever. And it's not really bugs, but new features. We've been adding them for two years. We have a huge list of features that people want to have and most are really good ideas. But at some point we just have to say enough and move on with our plans for the next game in the series.

Re: Death Knell For SOW?
But presumably a next game will have an updated engine, or a new engine, and in that updated/new engine they can include all the kinds of things the community always talk about? I'm sure SoW will still be the series title but it'll just be Sow v2.0.
Rome TW was a lot different to Medieval (1) TW, but there were a whole raft of conceptual, design and family similarities between the two.
