Unlocking all the scenario's

Does anyone here know how to unlock all the standard scenario's?

I've only just realised that some of them are locked, seems a bit a dumb idea its not like there is any career progression in the game that would justify a rights of passage restriction.

Open the scenario.ini file, (any text editor), for that battle and place a ; in front of the three lines that start with "carry". They are near the top of the file. Save it and you should be able to fight the battle whenever you like. You can undo the change if desired, by removing the ;.

Thanks I'll try that later today, and if it works I feel yet another Steam Guide is warranted.

Right checked that and it worked, but only on the User Scenario versions, as the ingame standard versions don't seem to have Scenario.ini files.  (Or if they do I couldn't find them.)

That's correct. You can only play them via the User Scenarios option. If you include this in the guide you might want to note that the scenario balance and difficulty may be changed due to the changed performance of KS Modded troops vs that of vanilla troops (e.g. artillery).

No, i won't include this in the KS Mod guide, as it's a more general guide for anyone playing the game.  I've done several guides now, including one that is a general guide on how to use mod's with the game, as most Steam players are used to Mod's being provides from the Steam Workshop and auto-installing.

I'm actually not sure why SOWWL mods are provided like this as there is nothing particularly different or difficult about them.

Okay, I misunderstood. I thought your plan was to give a guide on how to unlock all the canned scenarios so they could be played with the KS Mod. No I realise you meant unlocking them so you don't need to go through the progression.

Well the Expanded Toolbar has already provided everyone with User versions of the standard scenario's, so that's already sorted.  You can't play them with the Ks Mod in multiplayer by why would you want to.  The strength of the KS Mod is that you can play far more than just the standard scenario's

Well, not MP, but people in the past have asked about playing them SP with the Mod. I am not sure why you'd want to either...

The only issue there would be detaching the User Scenario package from the Expanded Toolbar Mod, and I can't imagine that would be too difficult if someone was really determined to do it.
