Yes, that's all you need. Some battles are fought on the SOWGB/expansions maps. If you have that game, the supplemental maps mod has an instruction page for moving the pertinent files to the new game. Today's battle does not require that. It uses a map already in the supplemental maps mod.

That's correct. There is an additional task if you own SoW-Gettysburg and any of its pay-for add-ons as we can use the maps that come with that game.
