Lovely. How far is this from where you live? Are those deer just extremely tame or were you using a long lens?

Thank you. The pics were taken along a regular hiking trail, a 5-10 minute walk from our house. The mule deer are wild, but so familiar with people that they have no fear at all. Oddly, they do react some to dogs -- even very small dogs -- and will often get fairly aggressive toward these, while ignoring the people who walk them. We call these our "attack deer." We've watched them go after coyotes on occasion from our back window -- an interesting role-reversal. ;-)
