Shevardino Doodle....

I've created a doodle for the Shevardino game. In having reviewed this again, i really think more players are needed. I'm thinking 10 French and 6 Russians would make for a good game, more could be easily accommodated. I could make the scenario smaller and perhaps i will, but really i'd rather play it large so if we can't get enough people we can try again for a later date and play something else. So i recommend someone have something else in the hopper just in case!

I can play both, but that GST is confusing I think, shouldn't it be GMT?

What I often do is create a large and small version of the scenario. That way I can always switch if not enough people show up to play what I originally had in mind.

Yes, of course i meant GMT.  

The problem with making a small and large version with a (roughly) historical scenario is that at some point you lose the flavor the action.   Of course in this case, i think i probably made it a bit bigger than the actual are the battalions are more up to strength than they normally would be. The other issue is that if it's too small it won't play out historically as there is too much room for maneuver.   Let's see how it goes, but i'll work on a more manageable version in the meantime.

I thought everyone knew that GST is Great State of Texas time!  The center of the universe, no doubt.

I presume you meant SOW mp :-) ?

We have new mp players joining in all the time and its more important that you just have fun.
Brigade command is usually the best way to start off. Often you will be up against players commanding divisions and therefore more distracted and using their AI brig commanders to fight at this level.
